Sony Showcases Broadcast Tools at NAB Show
At NAB 2013, Sony will showcase the latest innovations that are shaping both the present and future of the AV industry. Building on its heritage as a leading technology provider to broadcasters the world over, Sony will demonstrate how it’s serving customers with solutions to help manage workflow, convergence, and content creation in order to answer the evolving demands of the industry.
The adoption of richer image formats such as 4K, 3D, and HD, has greatly increased the amount of data that modern broadcasters have to manage. At NAB, Sony will demonstrate how it can offer broadcaster the tools to implement a complete end-to-end production workflow capable of managing data-intensive image formats.
Olivier Bovis, Head of AV Media, Sony Europe, said: “In 2012, Sony cemented its role as an innovator that is making the future of broadcast possible today. We are at the heart of revolutionary changes in the industry. Sony’s F-series cameras and the dedicated XAVC codec are already on the way to bringing 4K content to new and varied audiences across the globe. NAB 2013 will unite the industry once again and provides us with the perfect platform to engage with customers and show them how our technology can help bring richer viewing experiences to more and more people.”
Sony will be exhibiting at stand C11001 in the Central Hall. For more information, the Sony NAB 2013 website will go live early in April:
