StereoscopicFilmmaker.com presents our 2nd annual networking event, Cool by the Pool for Stereoscopic Professionals on Wednesday April the 10th 2013, during the annual National Association of Broadcasters Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Our goal for last years party was to create an event that would bring together Stereoscopic 3D professionals from around the world for networking and start a discussion about current stereoscopic 3D production workflows being used and new stereoscopic productions currently in development.

Thanks to our sponsors and to everyone that attended it was a complete success! So this year we’re going to take it a step further, by announcing our first ever Stereoscopic Filmmakers film contest, called the Z Awards.

The Z Awards is a brand new Stereoscopic 3D contest sponsored by StereoscopicFilmmakers.com whose goal is to honor some of the years best 3D productions created by stereoscopic 3D professionals from around the world during our annual event at our NAB Show party. This year we will be accepting entries in the following categories:

Best Animated 3D Short
Best Live Action 3D Short
Best 3D Documentary
Best 3D Music Video
Best 3D Commercial Advertisement
Best 3D Visual Effect

For your submission to be considered, please upload your video first to youtube, and copy the link to the video on the clipboard. Submit your contest entry payment by selecting the option on the top of the page. Then complete the following entry form by clicking the link The Z Awards Contest Entry Form.

You must also sign a RELEASE AND WAIVER form. Once your entry has been received you will get a confirmation email acknowledging your submission, and your video will be added to our Z Awards playlist on our 3DFilmmakers’s Youtube Channel. Winners in each category will be announced on April 10th 2013 at the event, and will win a prize from one of the corresponding category sponsors. The complete list of prizes will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

Complete Rules:
Entries will only be accepted via Youtube.
Shorts must be under 40 minutes.
Contest submissions must be received no later then April 8th 11:59PM.
No submissions will be accepted without payment.
Payments will be accepted via the eventbrite website.
Voting ends April 9th 2013 11:59PM
You can submit more then one entry.
You can only submit one film per entry.
Each entry requires a contest entry fee payment submitted.
You must be 18 years or older to enter.
Your property will always remain yours.
Please be able to show ID at the event for verification of identity.
