MMD Showcases Philips Public Signage Glasses-Free 3D Solutions at ISE 2013
The Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) is one of the yearly highlights for the digital signage industry. MMD, the leading technology company and brand licence partner for Philips Public Signage, will take part in this international high-profile event and present innovative digital signage solutions to professionals and other visitors in Amsterdam from 29 to 31 January 2013. Numerous smart Philips Public Signage Solutions will be showcased at one of the upcoming ISE’s biggest stands. Amongst them: UPP!, the Multi-user Touch range, glasses-free 3D and many more.
The 10th edition of the ISE opens with a special highlight right at the beginning: at the main entrance of the RAI in Amsterdam, where the ISE is held, visitors will be welcomed by a Philips Multi-user Touch Videowall, prepared with a special navigation software to make sure everybody finds their way to the halls and booths. In addition, twenty Multi-user Touch Kiosks will be showcased all over the exhibition grounds, guiding visitors through the ISE.
Upgrading digital signage with UPP!
Upgrade Public Signage Player (UPP!) is one of the latest innovations by Philips Public Signage Solutions: a digital signage device, allowing cloud-based content management on an Android 4.0 interface. Weighing a mere 90 grams, this smart product works exclusively with Philips Public Signage displays and makes expensive media players or PCs for digital signage obsolete. UPP! easily accesses data previously stored in a cloud-based account. Apps, presentations and settings can comfortably be controlled with a smartphone, a tablet or other Wi-Fi-capable computer. Tailor-made programs, messages, price lists or menus are now just one click of a button away.
Plug into a world of possibilities with UPP!
Interact with the Multi-user Touch range
The innovative Multi-user Touch displays enable customer interaction with extraordinary accuracy and a very fast response time. Infrared touch screens with 6 or 32 points register touches at an instant and without ghost points, whether a finger, a stylus or even a glove is used. Philips Public Signage offers a variety of touch range models from classic displays to tables, kiosks and totems. Stunning features complete these displays: automatic brightness control, a temperature sensor avoiding damage through overheating and automatic backlight intensity adjustment to reduce power consumption.
The VL, Q and E-line Series leave nothing to be desired
Extraordinary image quality and high performance are the key words to describe the Philips VL series. Thanks to the cutting edge LED technology, they sport vivid colours, strong brightness and a high contrast, while saving energy at the same time. Wide viewing angles and the possibility to turn the displays by 90 degrees make sure contents can be presented in the right format. They are equipped with OPS modules, USB Playback and designed for 24/7 usage. The stunning all-rounders of the Q Series also feature USB Playback, which allows to display content without the need for a special media player. The Q Serie is the perfect solution for an uncomplicated use of basic digital signage applications. The displays of the E-line Series are ideal for presenting projects in an eye-catching design at a reasonable price. Like the other series, this line stands out for the low total cost of ownership due to intelligent energy-saving features.
A new digital signage experience with glasses-free 3D
The Philips Public Signage 3D portfolio includes a selection of displays, corresponding to the different demands of their professional users. Equipped with advanced multi-view lenticular technologies, the autostereoscopic displays will fascinate multiple viewers with up to 28 lenticular views, virtually allowing peeking around objects and providing a stunning 3D depth – some even providing the widest 3D viewing angles on the market (150° vert./hor.) The 3D models naturally display conventional 2D content as well – and existing 2D signals can even be converted to 3D and displayed as stereoscopic pictures.
MMD will present these and more Philips Public Signage products from 29 to 31 January 2013 at the ISE in Amsterdam. Wilfred de Man, General Manager of Public Signage EMEA about the event: “The ISE belongs to the most important events for Philips Public Signage in 2013 and we are glad to be present with one of the biggest booths of the show. There will be many new and amazing solutions to marvel at. Our whole team is very excited and looks forward to the 10th edition of the Integrated Systems Europe.”
