STEREOTEC is launching its new ultra compact Light Weight Rig, a unique 11-axes motorization with auto-alignment and the smallest professional beam-splitter rig on the market (Stand 11.C84 & Sony booth, Stand 12.A10)

The world’s smallest professional mirror rig, the STEREOTEC Nano Rig, will be presented in a live set-up at STEREOTEC booth 11.C84. The rig is convenient for toughest environments as STEREOTEC CEO Florian Maier states: “Tight places, extraordinary perspectives and complex shooting environments initiated the development of the new STEREOTEC Nano Rig which is now the smallest, most precise and easy-to-use beam-splitter-rig on the market.”

STEREOTEC’s established Mid Size Rig – used for example for Paramount’s upcoming 3D feature “Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters” (hitting the theatres in January 2013) – will also be shown with live 3D playback. STEREOTEC is the only 3D rig manufacturer, that offers a modular and complete 11-axis motorization (including alignment parameters: tilt, height and roll) for all of its sophisticated carbon fiber mirror rigs: the Mid Size Rig, the Light Weight Rig and the 3D Live Rig.

The STEREOTEC Side-by-Side Live Rig and the Side-by-Side Mini Rig complete the broad spectrum of STEREOTEC’s 3D solutions, suitable for feature, broadcast, commercial and documentary. On a 3D Screen, the latest 3D content and making-of footage give an inside look into the stereoscopic services of STEREOTEC.

The brand new STEREOTEC Light Weight Rig can be seen at the Sony Booth 12.A10. The rig has been completely new designed with five integrated motors for ultra-compact and fully automized shooting in feature, TV and documentary. Besides the fully integrated motorization it features an accurate balanced camera movement and a unique cable management. It can be seen in a live 3D set-up with two Sony HDC-P1 cameras and easy-to-use alignment by the Sony MPE-200 stereoscopic images processor.

And there’s even more to explore: STEREOTEC’s Mid Size Rig will be part of the Production Village (Hall 11) – fully motorized and equipped with two Arri Alexa M und Stereolabs Pure Image Processing for automatic alignment, automati mechanical zoom correction and automatic convergence. The STEREOTEC Side-by-Side Mini Rig can be seen as part of the Wige presentation (Stand 11.A54) and the STEREOTEC Mid Size Extended Rig will be set-up at the Stereolabs booth (Stand 11.F61a).
