Sony Creative Software, a leading global provider of professional editing and authoring applications, today announced the availability of DoStudio™ Authoring 2.5, DoStudio™ Encoder 2.5, a professional series of Blu-ray Disc™ authoring applications. Seamlessly installing alongside other Sony Creative Software products, the DoStudio product line features the ability to create interactive 2D and 3D Blu-ray Discs, for duplication and replication in compliance with the Blu-ray Disc specifications.

Both DoStudio Authoring and Encoding 2.5 have been updated with a series of new features. DoStudio Authoring 2.5 includes improved backup functionality, automated compilation of movie objects, the ability to import chapters from Vegas Pro 11 and more. New to DoStudio Encoder 2.5, users can now take advantage of improved picture quality, performance and updated support for captured AVI and MOV video files.
