3DGuy Productions Presents ‘3D Workflows with Grass Valley’ at NAB 2012 Post|Production World
Room N258 Saturday, 14 April 2012 from 5:00pm – 6:15pm, NAB 2012
One of the highlights of NAB every year is the Post|Production World sessions produced by FMC Training. It is considered to be the world’s leading training event for production AND post professionals including editors, producers, directors, graphic artists, cinematographers, motion graphics designers and new media specialists.
This year, for the first time, it will include a session on Grass Valley’s EDIUS 6.5 – 3D Workflow. This session, presented by Al Caudullo of 3DGuy Productions, will highlight a case study done by Caudullo on location at the Eagle Festival in Ugli in Western Mongolia. Armed with a small crew of 3D professionals and an intern from Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand, Caudullo was able to capture and edit 3D footage from two Panasonic AG3DA1s, equipped with Nano Flash 3Ds and a couple of Go Pro Hero 3D cameras all using an Edius 3D Beta software version on a Toshiba Qosmio laptop.
Additional footage shot by Caudullo and his team will be shown from the US, Moscow, underwater footage from the Similan Islands, as well as footage from Trails of a Legend, a 3D documentary. ‘Trails of a Legend’ is scheduled to be previewed at next month’s Festival de Cannes.
The ‘3D Workflows with Grass Valley’ session will take place on Saturday, 14 April 2012 from 5:00pm – 6:15pm in Room N258. For details visit:
