Dimension 3 Announces New 3D Content Market Place for 2012 Event
Organizers are also excited to announce the first S3D programs market!
Showcase of the new dimensions of images for 6 years, Dimension 3 2012 offers a SD3 Festival, and for the first time a S3D Content Market
In 2011, Dimension 3 Festival rewarded Pina 3D directed by Wim Wenders (stereographer Alain Derobe) as Grand Prize. Open to all the S3D formats, the 2012 competition starts today its call for entries. Participants can register their content until April 25th. The award ceremony on June 14th will gather 400 international professionals and thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and partners the winning producers will receive a ‘Dimmy Award’ plus prizes such as softwares, postproduction facilities or free rigs rentals. The nominated movies will be screened over 3 days in a S3D auditorium.
This year, the Forum will also offer the first S3D independent contents market. The 3D Market Place will allow distributors/ producers to register their program on the Market catalogue. Buyers will be able to consult the registered programs on demand in a dedicated area equipped with pods.
In addition and in order to maximize contacts between S3D producers and operators or broadcasters looking for contents, Dimension 3 organises two half days of business meetings.
Distributors, producers and directors of 3D contents willing to take part to the Festival competition need to register their S3D contents into one of these 8 categories:
– Feature Film (Live action and animation)
– Short film
– TV program (one shot or series)
– Animation (one shot or series)
– Live acquisition
– Special Formats
– Advertisment Corporate Graphics Video clip
– School films
