Euro Media France and Cinevideogroup Use Micro Film Total Control Rigs to Record Shakira in 3D
Euro Media France technicians worked with the staff of Cinevideogroup (Dutch subsidiary of Euro Media Group), who were in France to record a show by Shakira and carry out 3D trials.
She performed on 14th June at the Palais Omnisport in Bercy: a show which was sold out, as is the case whenever she performs.
Promoting her latest album “The Sun Comes Out/Sale El Sol”, the beautiful Columbian had a few surprises for her audience, performing a Francis Cabrel cover and finishing with the great “Waka Waka”.
The recording of the concert required 2 days of filming to create the musical DVD of the show.
For the show, Euro Media Group used 12 HD cameras, 2 Technocranes, Towercams, SAM dollies and Steadycams, as well as the Total Control Rig II.
This new-generation 3D rig has the most rapid set-up on the market. Thanks to its aluminium and carbon design, its automatic positioning and its real-time adjustment, this rig, developed by Micro Film in collaboration with Euro Media Group, offers unrivalled precision and ease of use.
The Group has already invested in 9 Total Control rigs, because the demand for 3D services has multiplied over recent months (this weekend, the Aerial Camera Systems team filmed in 3D the FIM British Speedway in Cardiff and next week Euro Media France will film in 3D the royal wedding in Monaco).
