Inaugural InfoComm MEA 2011 Has Strong Industry Support
Despite being a first time event, InfoComm MEA 2011 – the definitive pro AV and systems integration technology platform in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia region (MENASA) – has garnered the support of the international Pro AV industry. Global brand leaders such as Extron, Jupiter Systems, Crestron, Samsung, Mitsubishi, Sharp, Wolfvision and NEC are among the first to book their stands at the Show, scheduled for 9-13 October 2011 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
InfoComm MEA is a project of InfoComm International®, a trade association of professional audiovisual and information communications industries, based in the USA. The event is co-located with GITEX Technology Week in Dubai, one of the largest and most important ICT events in the world.
In 2010, GITEX attracted more than 130,000 professionals from diverse industries including IT, Logistics and Transportation, Banking and Finance, Education, Retail and Hospitality, Government and Local Municipalities. The co-location thus offers InfoComm MEA 2011 exhibitors immediate access to one of world’s largest gathering of information and communication professionals, in the world’s fastest growing ICT market – the MENASA region.

Industry analysts estimate that more than US$3.3 trillion will be required for infrastructure development from now to 2017 across the MENASA region, with private consumption expected to reach over US$3 trillion by 2017.
