Dimension 3 Festival is one of the most ambitious international festivals dedicated to S3D images. Actually, this Festival has broken his own record by welcoming 103 films this year, whereas there were only 60 registered films for the competition in 2010! Another new record for this Festival’s second edition: the competition is welcoming about 46% of contents that have never been screened yet… Such a wealth of contents to be discovered during the screening of the selected films in the 3Découverte Auditorium from May, 24 to 26.

An international Festival!

15 countries are in competition this year! The participants are coming from South Korea, Australia, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, England, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, Spain, Austria and Estonia. Welcome to the producers of the newest participating countries: Uruguay and Russia!

An intense contest…

The number of short films and commercial films has tremendously increased in this year’s edition (about 50 contents for the 2 categories) and productions in competition in the documentary category will lead to a splendid competition (Programs registered in this category: Brian May, Brief history of 3D, Moscow Etudes, Mormeck, une nouvelle Dimension, Island Travel essay, Sauvegardons Notre Planète, Jour de Miel, Juvenile.

The trophies will be awarded during the Crystal Dimmy’s ceremony, on May 24th, beginning with the award of the Orange’s 3D creation workshops Grand Prize!
