Avance Rapide Communication earns EU MEDIA program support for S3D Campus training
It is now official, Avance Rapide Communication has earned the support of
the EU’s MEDIA program for the two training courses given in 2011 as a part of
S3D Campus!
S3D Campus was created in order to develop a European network of S-3D
experts, producers, creators and technicians. This is the second running year
that S3D Campus has been accepted into this program. The involvement of
the EU allows the event to take on an international dimension. Thanks to the
MEDIA program, the 2010 edition of S3D Campus had 35 trainees come from
13 countries for a 5-days course, featuring a dozen world-famous trainers
(including stereographer Alain Derobe, currently overseeing the production of
Wim Wenders’ documentary Pina 3D, and Jeff Olm, 3D grader at
DreamWorks). This was also a chance for trainees to discover a large range of
high-performance S-3D equipments.
S3D Campus 2011 Courses:
S-3D Production: Theory and Practice (May 30 to June 3, 2011)
Workshop: Directing an S-3D Film (October 3 to 14, 2011)
