You probably haven't escaped the fact that the premier of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" takes place tomorrow in Wellington, New Zealand. Being the first major feature film to be shot at 48fps, it offers what Director Peter Jackson claims to be a more realistic movie-going experience as well as more comfortable 3D, and will be one of those landmark events for the 3D industry.
