Hello [FIRSTNAME]

You probably haven't escaped the fact that the premier of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" takes place tomorrow in Wellington, New Zealand. Being the first major feature film to be shot at 48fps, it offers what Director Peter Jackson claims to be a more realistic movie-going experience as well as more comfortable 3D, and will be one of those landmark events for the 3D industry. So our articles this month include some useful information on high frame rate considerations from production to display.
