Beatpixels Appoints Jason Robinson as Managing Director

Beatpixels Ltd is a company specialising in bespoke products for the AV and entertainment industries.

The young company recently announced the release of the first automated online 2D to 3D conversion service, dimension+. The service allows the users to create quality conversions for autostereoscopic (glasses-free 3D) displays, literally with a click of a button.

The company’s newly appointed Managing Director, Jason Robinson, has over 25 years experience in the leisure, retail and themed entertainment sectors. Jason first worked with 3D projection in 1992 and is a patented inventor with a full UK patent granted in June 2010 for a Peppers Ghost 3D effect. Jason brings with him a wealth of Management and Technical experience.

‘Having been approached to lead this young and dynamic company is a fantastic opportunity to create a unique service within the industry. I am looking forward to working with the Janne (company founder and Technical Director) in developing a new team from a London base to really change the way creative media is used in a 3D infrastructure’ says Jason Robinson.

Set to be another addition to the team is Jon Vogel, one of Europe’s leading 3D specialists. Jason and Jon have worked together since 2005. Jon will be the 3D consultant to Beatpixels.

In a career spanning 30 years, Jon has worked on all aspects of 3D, from design, origination and production, through to project management and installation. He has completed 3D projects all over the world and worked with over 50 blue chip clients.

Founder of Beatpixels Ltd and creator of dimension+, Janne Taponen, comments, ‘we at Beatpixels are delighted to have Jason and Jon on board and to strengthen industry expertise within the company” Janne will continue to be the Technical Director of the company.

Beatpixels Ltd has specialist products and software in development, with plans to launch in Q3 of this year.
