DDD Group Launches Yabazam 3D Movie Subscription Service for LG 3D Smart TVs
DDD Group plc (AIM: DDD; OTCQX: DDDGY), the 3D solutions company, has launched the first dedicated 3D movie Video-On-Demand subscription service in the US, now available for LG 3D Smart TVs.
The service costs $9.99 per month and allows unlimited viewing of the original 3D programming available from Yabazam.
Yabazam features a wide range of 3D content, including independently produced 3D movies, documentaries, live action comedies and animated features from producers around the world. DDD is aggressively growing the range of 3D programs available on Yabazam and is releasing new 3D titles on a weekly basis.
Yabazam titles are available for rent using the free Yabazam 3D video streaming app, which is available on both LG and Samsung 3D Smart TVs in 13 countries. The US is the first market in which DDD offers the subscription service.
The Yabazam 3D app has been downloaded over 180,000 times and averages more than 1,500 3D movie viewing sessions per day.
Chris Yewdall, Chief Executive of DDD, said:
“Yabazam is expanding quickly and has become an important provider of 3D entertainment for a growing range of 3D consumer products. The launch of a monthly subscription service for 3D Smart TVs reflects the critical mass of 3D movies that is now available for streaming.”
Yabazam 3D movies have become a mainstay feature of many of the latest 3D Smart TVs, notebooks and personal computers from leading brands globally. Launched in 2009, Yabazam offers a rapidly growing collection of originally made 3D programming. It brings a diverse range of compelling content to the expanding audience for 3D entertainment at home.
