Dimension 3 Calls for Festival Entries and Announces a 3D Market Place for 2012 Event
Dimension 3 2012 launches the S3D content call campaign for the Festival and we are excited to announces the first ever S3D programs market!

In 2011, Dimension 3 Festival rewarded Pina 3D by Wim Wenders (stereographer Alain Derobe) in the feature film grand prix category. Open to all the S3D formats, the competition starts today its call for entries 2012. Participants can register their content until April 25th. The award ceremony on June 14th will gather 400 international professionals and thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and partners the winning producers receive a ‘Dimmy Award’ plus prizes such as softwares, postproduction facilities or free rigs rentals.. The nominated movies will be screened over 3 days in a S3D auditorium.
This year, the Forum will also offer the first S3D independent contents market. The 3D Market Place will allow distributors/ producers to register their program on the Market catalogue. Buyers will be able to consult registered programs on demand in a dedicated screening area.
In order to maximise contacts between S3D producers and operators or broadcasters looking for content, Dimension 3 organises, in addition to the Market Place, two half days of business meetings.
Distributors, producers and directors of 3D contents willing to take part to the Festival competition need to register their S3D contents into one of these 8 categories:
• Feature Film (Live action and animation)
• Short film
• TV program (one shot or series)
• Animation (one shot or series)
• Live acquisition
• Special Formats
• Advertisment – Corporate – Graphics – Video clip
• School films
