Exceptional 3D and 3D Impact Media will cross-market their glasses-free 3D products for wide-spread adoption.
The Swiss-based 3D Impact Media and Exceptional 3D, based in New York, today announced that both companies will begin cross-marketing each others technologies to enhance their 3D product portfolio. Under the agreement, 3D Impact Media, a leading software provider for glasses-free 3D solutions, will include the Exceptional 3D patented auto-stereoscopic 3D display technology with their product line offering. Similarly, Exceptional 3D will offer 3D Impact Media’s software products to their client base, namely the “Reality Tools” for 2D to 3D conversion as well as the “Reality Player“, an auto-stereoscopic 3D playback software.
The formation of this relationship allows 3D Impact Media to offer Exceptional 3D’s patented glasses-free 3D display products, which support both no-glasses 3D and 2D digital signage capabilities. To reciprocate, Exceptional 3D will offer 3D Impact Media’s RealityTools, a comprehensive tool-set for 3D post-production and conversion for glasses-based (stereoscopic) and glasses-free (auto-stereoscopic) 3D technologies.
