Avid Stand J10: Broadcast Video Expo will mark the UK debut of Avid® Motion Graphics™. Launched at IBC 2011, Avid Motion Graphics is a next-generation graphics platform built on a revolutionary rendering engine that lets everyone involved in graphics development make the most of their media. Its architecture provides the foundation for a wide array of marketing applications, including news, sports, live events, post production and channel branding.

Avid will also be showcasing its innovative, productive, affordable and open solutions for broadcasters and post-production facilities – for shared storage, media asset management, high-end visual effects, audio mixing and video editing. Customer demonstrations and product presentations featured during the show will include demos of the latest versions of its award-winning audio and video solutions such as Media Composer® 6 Pro Tools® 10, Pro Tools HDX, Interplay® Production Asset Manager and ISIS® 5000.

As a key BVE supporter and sponsor, in the show’s 3D Revolution Theatre Avid will host seminar sessions to showcase current Media Composer 6 stereoscopic workflows and discuss what the future holds for 3D. In The Audio Room and Post Production Theatre, Avid will run sessions dedicated to Pro Tools workflow tips, hosted by Russ Hughes, co-founder of Pro Tools Expert, and sessions on using native DNxHD workflows with ALEXA, which ARRI will present.

Finally, in conjunction with its Learning Partners Soho Editors, VET and Alchemea College, Avid will run Hands on Training sessions for Media Composer 6 and Pro Tools 10 in the Training Theatre. Sessions will run hourly on each day of the show.
