BVE North Announces Competition With Prizes Including Panasonic HDC-Z10000 3D Camcorder
Videographers, camera operators and film makers have the chance to win a Panasonic HDC-Z10000 – the world’s first AVCHD 3D/progressive compatible camera – in an exciting competition launched by BVE North, the new event for broadcast, video and audio professionals taking place at Manchester Central from 16-17 November.
Anyone with the experience, equipment and technical abilities to film, produce and edit a professional video is invited to submit an original piece of work up to five minutes long, which will be judged on overall skills and professional production values by an independent broadcast industry professional. Five shortlisted entrants will then be invited to film a promo during BVE North that captures the essence of the event, according to a brief.
The video that most fully satisfies the brief will be used as the official show promo, and the winner will also receive a cash prize of £1000 and a Panasonic HDC-Z10000, courtesy of Holdan, plus half a day’s training on the new camera at Panasonic’s Pinewood Facility, courtesy of F-Stop Academy.
Second and third prizes are up to three days’ Apple or Adobe certified training at one of Soho Editors’ facilities in Manchester or London, and a Habbycam HD Camera Brace, courtesy of PEC. All five shortlisted entrants will also receive a year’s free subscription to broadcastfeelancer.com, courtesy of Broadcast Magazine.
The closing date for entries is 15 October 2011.
