3D Stereo MEDIA, TWIST, and peacefulfish, with the collaboration of the MEDIA Programme of the European Commission (EC), are extending the deadline to submit projects to the 3D Film Mart (3DFM), the 1st co-production stereoscopic-3D (S-3D) film market in Europe and beyond.

The new deadline is 12 September 2011.

The 3D Film Mart will take place in Liège, Belgium, on 7-8 December 2011, as part of the 3rd edition of the overall 3D Stereo MEDIA event, which is dedicated to all forms and aspects of 3D.

The 3D Film Mart will bring together (1) European producers (of film, TV, alternative content) who have S-3D feature, documentary, or animation film projects at an early stage of development, and (2) international investors (sales agents, distributors, financiers). Producers and investors will interact during pitching sessions and one-to-one meetings.

The 3D Film Mart will give the opportunity to producers to submit their 2D projects and convert them into S-3D films.

A jury will select the 20 best projects and their producers will be invited to pitch them to a panel of investors (on 7-8 December 2011), who will select the single best of these projects, and its producer will receive an award in the amount of 3,000 €.
