3D International group has recently introduced a 21.5″ autostereoscopic touchscreen display product. The screen features the all new CLD (Chromatic Light Deflector) 3D optics producing sharp, bright and crisp 3D images. On top of that, it is equipped with infrared based multitouch functionality.
The majority of previous glasses-free 3D screens had a designated viewing distance that is a multiple of human arm’s length and hence was not useable for touch screen applications.
With our new 21.5″ CLD, we were able to shorten the 3D viewing distance to arm’s length while achieving an excellent 3D impression. The apparatus uses 5 new patents/patents pending for the various 3D technology components included.
“The screen can be perfectly used and incorporated into vending machines, kiosks and infotainment systems”, said Stephan Otte, Head of Hardware Development in 3D International Europe. “We are very pleased to offer one of the first glasses-free 3D multi-touch display products in the market at an affordable price.”
3D International supports all its 3D display products with a full range of useful tools for content creation and playback, real time drivers and other software modules.
