This course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the current 3D landscape and enable producers to successfully manage a 3D project through all stages, familiarising them fully with 3D workflows.
FÁS Screen Training Ireland is delighted to announce 3D Cinema in Europe. This is a project based programme aimed at exploring the technical and creative requirements in producing a 3D stereoscopic live action feature film.
3D cinema in Europe aims to provide producers and creatives with an indepth knowledge of the current 3D landscape, enabling them to successfully project manage a 3D project through all stages from development, pre-production, production, post-production, distribution and exhibition.
There are two 3-day residential modules.
– for 15-20 experienced producers;
– for the same producers 45 directors/cinematographers and editors designated by the producers.
The course involves significant immersion in studio-based 3D production practice. Participants will have the opportunity to use the technology and gain technical expertise from current industry leaders in the field.

15 producers, 15 directors, 15 cinematographers and 15 editors.
Participant Fees
€1,650 per participating producer
€700 per participating writer, director, cinematographer etc
Scholarships available for applicants from the 12 new EU member states – Romania, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia, Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Cyprus, Malta – and for participants from countries with no support mechanisms.
