Avnet Embedded, an Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT) company, has agreed to a pan-European vendor partnership with Magnetic 3D, the US-based innovator of glasses-free 3D display solutions for the professional signage market.

Under the agreement Avnet Embedded will bring European customers a complete range of Enabl3D™ products from Magnetic 3D that include displays, software and creative services. The available Allura Finished Product Series with Enabl3D™ Technology is comprised of 22” – 57” options. The Allura Series consists of display solutions that have been developed for general out-of-home signage. The technology is currently supporting a variety of applications, such as point of sale and exhibitions. Other feature products include the Emersa Presentation Series with Enabl3D™ technology available from 22” – 42” and the Emersa 3D + Touch Series with Enabl3D™ Technology, available in 22” with integrated touch sensing.

Magnetic 3D is the global-leader in glasses-free, auto-stereoscopic 3D displays. The Enabl3D™ Technology delivers a viewing experience with depth qualities and even more noticeable effects where imagery and content appears to ‘POP’ off of the screen. The Enabl3D™ Technology with multi-view delivers a bright, high-performance experience on an LCD panel through the use of proprietary software and hardware that enables viewers to observe true 3D images, videos and beyond, without wearing any special 3D glasses. Some of the available software tools include the E3D Creative Suite, Fuzion and a few different digital signage solutions, which have been integrated to ensure rapid project completion with an existing network future-proofing to support glasses-free 3D. In addition, Magnetic 3D’s Creative Services Group works directly with customers to develop content or will train a team or individuals on the E3D Creative Suite to produce content in-house and maximise return on investing in the Enabl3D™ Technology.
