Doremi Technologies will highlight some of its key products at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2011 at RAI Centre, Amsterdam February 1-3.

Dimension-3D
Doremi’s Dimension-3D offers flexible and powerful 3D conversion enabling any 3D standard to be converted to any other – including frame-rate conversion. Supporting single- and dual-stream HD-SDI, and HDMI input / output, all video formats are accepted, from HD to 2K.

The versatility of Dimension-3D allows it to support all stereoscopic formats. It converts any format for use on any available hardware, including the latest generation of projectors and new 3D LCD screens. By encoding and decoding between the two left-eye and right-eye streams, and a single-stream HD-SDI, Dimension-3D allows the recording of 3D content on standard server hardware or HD cassettes.

Doremi CineAsset and CineAsset-Pro Version 4.8.1
Doremi digital cinema CineAsset mastering software converts popular video files such as QuickTime®, AVI, JPEG and TIFF to unencrypted JPEG2000, MPEG2 or H.264 MXF-wrapped files, also known as Digital Cinema Packages (DCP), for playback on digital cinema servers including Doremi’s DCP-2000, DCP-2K4 and DSV-J2 and the new ShowVault.

CineAsset allows operators to convert, transfer, plan and play 2D and 3D video clips, such as local advertisements, announcements, regional promotions or content-specific notices.

The CineAsset-Pro version supports multi-threading that enables faster conversions. For example, it can achieve conversions to JPEG2000 at up to five or six frames/second depending on storage speed and the hardware platform.

The latest version, CineAsset v.4.8.1, enables new features such as resizing the image to the native output resolution of the projector, conversion to the X’Y’Z’ colorimetry used in DCI digital cinema, and is now available with a plug-in for Final Cut Pro. Doremi CineAsset is offered for Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.

Nugget-Pro
Nugget-Pro is Doremi’s affordable HD player that delivers video at up to 80 Mbit/s. It is especially suitable for museums, theme parks and attractions, concerts and other events where image quality is paramount. Using DoremiAM software and connected to a Dimension-3D, Nugget-Pro can play videos of any SD / HD 3D format or frame rate.

DSV-J2
The DSV-J2 is the JPEG2000 and MPEG2 MXF playback server for large screens. It can play separate left-eye and right-eye, supports all HD standards at any frame rate for 2K, 3D, and 4K if associated to the Doremi MB-4K media block. DSV-J2 is ideal for large events such as concerts, amusement parks, fixed installations and large-format presentations. The DSV-J2 comes with the innovative CineAsset software, which allows the direct import of virtually all formats and codecs used in the industry.

Doremi Qalif
Qalif is a simple device for quick adjustment and a full calibration of the entire chain of digital projection. It not only provides precision checks of focus, but also many other parameters including colorimetry and uniformity, providing a complete analysis of the entire surface of the screen.

The system includes a digital stills camera connected via Wi-Fi to a PC in the projection room. The whole set-up can be run by just one trained operator controlling and adjusting the projector, and instantly seeing the results of the analysis. The step-by-step guided calibration software allows quick and easy implementation and measurement, with only three stills shots needed for a complete evaluation of the projector’s performance. The results for colorimetry, contrast, uniformity, etc., displayed in graphs, are easy to use, and any appropriate adjustments can be quickly made. Qalif generates reports to keep a history of calibration and check-ins can be used for further analysis by specialists.
