JVC Professional Europe Ltd. is pleased to announce that Dutch cultural channel, Brava, has launched a new 3D channel which broadcasts 3D classical music, opera and ballet, using footage converted with the IF-2D3D1 image processor.

The award winning 2D-to-3D converter allows Brava to convert footage for the channel, which will be available free on the 23.5 degrees East position.

The IF-2D3D1 is housed in a rugged, 1RU metal cabinet and compatible with a wide range of HD formats. The converter helps improve 3D workflow, whether converting archived 2D material or shooting original content in 3D and uses unique JVC algorithms to convert 2D content to 3D in real time during a live production or in post production.

Supplied by Netherlands-based JVC Professional authorised dealer, AVNED, the IF-2D3D1 image processor will enable Brava 3D to provide high-quality 3D footage across Europe at a low cost.
