CineForm®, Inc., creators of high-fidelity compression-based workflow solutions for the post production marketplace, announced today its industry-popular, award-winning First Light stereoscopic 3D production workflow technology and new uncompressed recording solutions for single link and dual link recording, will be on display across multiple partner stands during IBC 2010 in Amsterdam this week.
Demonstrating the broad appeal, depth of innovation and impact on all aspects of stereo 3D production and uncompressed workflows – from camera to post – CineForm has assembled an extensive list of partners for whom they are providing the enabling technologies for their IBC 2010 presentations, demos and announcements.

CineForm is also announcing its new uncompressed format – CineForm Uncompressed™ – used for recording from single link (4:2:2) or dual link (4:4:4) sources is now available through its Software Developer Kit (SDK). CineForm Uncompressed is part of the newly announced Cinedeck EXTREME v2.0 and will be on display in Cinedeck’s stand #3.A24. CineForm Uncompressed supports CineForm’s Active Metadata™ technology for recording and playback in the same way as its compressed formats, which allows users to add non-destructive color correction and other image adjustments plus 3D adjustments without rendering.

Additionally, last month, CineForm announced it had teamed up with Panasonic to enable one-step 3D batch conversion into CineForm 3D files from separate left eye and right eye HD video files recorded using Panasonic’s new AG-3DA1 3D professional AVCCAM camcorder. 3D file conversion is enabled by CineForm’s First Light software included with its Neo family of products, and accelerates the 3D production-to-post workflow process for customers of Panasonic’s 3DA1. The Panasonic 3DA1 will also be on display at IBC 2010 this week.
